Venting for any relocated fixture — every trap needs a vent path; islands need special handling.

Sequencing with the other trades

Rough-in plumbing happens after framing and usually alongside electrical, before insulation and drywall. It gets inspected before it’s covered. Booking the plumber early — at plan stage, not tile stage — keeps the schedule honest.

Permits and inspection
